Management Accountant

About the company
ASX listed business with high growth plans thanks to a rapidly expanding client portfolio. My client is an innovator in the technology space and looking to further strengthen their team. As well as being a flexible employer they near public transport for candidates who wish to be office based.
Role summary
Broad position including monthly financial close and accounts, performance management reporting, looking at budget versus actual. You will liaise with stakeholders around financial integrity ensuring confidence in the ASX listed accounts.
About the role
- Preparing the monthly management accounts including full P&L and Balance Sheet
- Responsible for all technical accounting matters including liaising with external audit partners
- Assisting with the budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes
- Working with various internal customers on any business improvement initiatives
Skills & experience
- CA/CPA qualified with a strong background in a similar role
- Strong written communication skills, this individual will be writing executive and board level reports
- Would suit an individual who works well in a smaller more close-knit team
- Must be able to work with, and improve, accounting systems and software
