This local government organisation based in the western suburbs of Melbourne have an opening for a Management Accountant to join their team for a short-term contract until December and possibly ongoing contract/permanent. This role will be reporting to the MA Coordinator. The role requires an individual with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role which requires a commercial mindset within a business partnering orientated role, and where project analysis has been prominent. Please note that candidates applying for this role must be available to start immediately.
The Role, Skills & Experience
- At least 3 years' experience working in a similar MA, Project Accounting or Business Partner role
- Budgeting and forecasting in a project environment, medium to large business or organisation
- Ability to articulate and explain complex analysis both written and verbally
- Excellent accuracy and time management skills
- Confident and professional communication skills with all levels of stakeholders
