Job description

NSW Government Agency is looking for a Principal Strategy Lead with extensive business case development experience to join their team.
About the role:
- Provide business case writing expertise and lead the compilation of business case documents, including facilitating multi-disciplinary input and reviews from functional teams.
- Synthesise technical, financial and strategic inputs into coherent business case arguments that can be easily understood by a wide range of stakeholders.
- Guide business cases through the required internal processes including engagement with NSW Treasury, senior organisation and emergency services representatives.
- Represent the Agency in NSW Government Project Gate review processes for business cases including preparation of documentation and presentation material.
- Proactively execute the business case preparation plan including providing clear instructions and requirements to stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery to submission dates.
- Leadership role in supporting a team of two business analysts.
Essentials:
- Experience in strategic (complex x-agency stakeholders; multi year); business case development (essential)
- Management consulting background (preferred)
- Government and infrastructure experience (essential) within telecommunications (preferred)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
