Job description
Based in the heart of Melbourne CBD, we have partnered with an automotive company in search for an experienced Data Manager. The role will initially be a 12 month fixed term contract, with opportunity to extend or go permanent, it will offer a package of $145,000 - $165,000 view a view to start as soon as possible.

Key Duties:
- Lead a small technical team; motivate, engage and mentor
- Drive technical design, data governance, strategy & data management across the business
- Advise on data platform capabilities and manage data integration projects
- Deliver effective data solutions, to schedule and accurately
- Strategic planning for the team
You will need:
- 5 years minimum experience working in Data; implementing best practice, strategy, solutions & delivery
- Solid experience in a Lead or Managerial role mentoring others and developing a team
- Experience with developing data warehouses, implementing data governance strategies and managing/migrating data platforms
- To be an excellent translator between the business and the technical teams; simplifying complex technical issues
- Excellent client facing and stakeholder management skills; pushing back and advising accordingly to many areas of the business internally and externally
Desirable skills:
- Tableau, SSIS, SSRS, SQL & Jira
